                                                        January 24th - 29th, 2012

The Skki Inn is back!    Now is your opportunity to experience the Trikke Skki with folks from all over the country.  If you've never had the chance to embrace the effortless ride of the Skki, it's time to fall in love again.   Come ride in some of the best terrain, and pristine powder in the country.   

Let's ride together!   Join us for the only National Trikke Skki event of the year.    

And most importantly,...   Come let your hair down, and have some FUN!


ABOUT THE EVENT:  

 The Skki Inn first took place in 2008 at Beaver Mountain resort.  It has since grown to become the country's largest winter Trikke event.    

It is ultimately a social time, laid-back and a lot of fun.  Consider it your Trikke Skki vacation.    You'll have no obligations other than to hang out, meet new people, relax, party, and SKKI all week.   

Most importantly, you'll get a chance to skki with some of the best riders in the country.   
Certified Trikke Trainers, will have the opportunity to learn more about the Trikke Skki Program with special classes, and quality time with other Trainers.   

It is the ultimate opportunity to get away from life, experience something totally new, and enjoy an extremely nice vacation without having to sell the farm to afford it.   You don't want to miss this event.

THE SKKing: 

Trikke is truly cross-seasonal, and it is a joy to take your ride from the streets to the slopes.  

Snow Basin is the Cadillac of Ski Resorts.  The terrain seems never ending, with diverse options from beginner easy to challenging expert runs.   Snowbasin also offers 3,000 skiable acres and 3,000 vertical feet of fun.  Snowbasin is best known for wide-open bowls, gladed runs, manicured groomers, powder stashes days after a storm, manageable a lift lines, world-class snowmaking, and one of the most advanced lift systems in the West.  Trail map  

Soooo,....    If you've never been into winter sports, or maybe dropped it years ago, come see what a blast it is to carve up a Utah mountain on a Trikke Skki.

CERTIFIED TRIKKE TRAINERS:

 
You'll learn more about the Skki than we could ever convey during an Academy. This is your opportunity to fully experience the winter world of Trikke.  

We have a reduced registration for our Certified Trikke Trainers along with special classes on riding and instruction.  If you live near a ski resort, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about how you might get things moving with this gravity powered vehicle.

 REGISTRATION:

This event is now produced by Trikke Academy, and event features such as:  hospitality suite,  evening games, movies, awards ceremony, etc., will be hosted by that evening's event coordinators.    (See below for list of  Event Coordinators.)

We also have a special family rate of $25 for spouses, and children under 12 yrs old are free.  Standard registration fee of $75.


With your event registration, you will receive the following:

  • Souvenir, long sleeve Skki Inn shirt.
  • Full pass Hospitality Suite each evening  for fun, games, snacks, and drinks.
  • End-of-Event  dinner party & award ceremony.
  • Raffle Drawing:  There's always some cool, fun prizes, but this year's big winner will be walking away with a Trikke Skki.

LODGING & ACCOMMODATIONS:

The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel-type situation.  Trikke Academy has reserved custom lodgings in a mountain community in Eden, Utah.  You have the option of "lodge style", or setting up your own private booking, -what we call the "D.I.Y. Condo" option.    

Lodge Style: Whether you're in our "Main Lodge" house, or our other lodge style accommodations, rooms are made up of 3 types of quarters:  1) private bedrooms & suites;  2) semi-private bunk-bed rooms;  &  3) non-private bunk house room.   (We do not overbook, person to bed ratio.)   
 

Main Lodge: Our Main Lodge house is an large, high-end, luxury home with comfortable sleeping accommodations.    Add to that some radiant heat, full kitchen, private hot tub, multi-table game room, and surround sound theater room,  ...not to mention complimentary internet access, and you've got yourself a party.   It will also be the center of activity (aka fun) most evenings.   (See full description w/ pics below.)  

Main Lodge - Room Options & Pricing:      
We have negotiated very reasonable rates for your winter Trikke vacation.   Pricing is based on your choice of sleeping arrangements, and rates shown are based on a 5 night stay.  (For those coming with children please see below for our D.I.Y. Condo  options.)

Bedroom 1 (Private):  King Master Suite - 1 King Bed, private bath w/ jacuzzi bath  (upstairs) = $675 room  (reserved)

Bedroom 2 (Private) :  1 King Bed & 1 Twin Bed (twin bunk over futon seating) (upstairs) = $650 room  (split upon request:  $425 King bed & $225 Twin bed)  (reserved)

Bedroom 3 (Semi-Private):  2 King Beds (King over King Bunk w/ fireplace) (downstairs) = $425 ea king bed (reserved)

Bunkhouse Room 4 (Non-Private):  2 Queen Beds (Queen over Queen Bunk); 2 Full Beds (Full over Full Bunk); 2 Twin Beds (Twin over Twin Bunk) (downstairs)  =  $325 ea queen bed, $275 ea full bed, $225 ea twin bed    (reserved) -  2 Twins & 1 Full bed available)

Sleeper Sofa (Non-Private):  $175  (available)


*The lodging accomodations pricing above is for 5 nights which includes a morning selection of continental breakfast items & dinner each day. A 10% lodging tax will be added.

2ND Lodge - Room Options & Pricing:  

This is a smaller house, so pricing is a bit higher for these accommodations.  There are simply less people to split the costs.  But, the upside is that also means a bit more privacy.   (See full description w/ pics below.)

Rooms are made up of 3 types of quarters: 1) private bedrooms & suites; 2) semi-private bunk-bed rooms  (We do not overbook person to bed ratio.)


Bedroom 1 (Private): King Master Suite, 1 King Bed, private bath w/ Jacuzzi-type tubs (upstairs) = $725 room   (available)

Bedroom 2 (Private) : 1 Queen Master Suite, private bath w/ Jacuzzi-type tub - (main floor) = $675 room  (reserved)


Bedroom 3 (Private): 1 Queen Room -  (downstairs) = $650 room  (reserved)

Bedroom 3 (Semi-Private): 2 Twin beds- (upstairs) = $250 each bed (reserved)

Bedroom 4 (Semi-Private): 1 Twin Bed and 1 Full Bed (this is a twin over full bunk bed) plus 1 Futon Sleeper - (downstairs) = $225 Futon, $250 Twin, $325 Full (reserved)

Sleeper Sofa (Non-Private): (downstairs) =  $200 (available)

    • Dining Options: Table Dining for 8

        PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY: 


        Payment:  Registration Fee payment is due at time of registration.  In order to reserve your accommodations, half of your lodgings payment will be required.  Balance will be due 30 days prior to the event.

        Cancellation of Registration:  Full refund of registration fee will be available up to 60 days prior to the event.     

        Cancellation of Accomodations:  Cancellation of lodgings can be made up to 60 days prior to the event with full accomodation refund.  Refunds can not be guaranteed after the 60 day cut off.    We will try our best to fill the bed / room that you had reserved, in which case we will provide a full refund. You registration fee will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.   All cancellations must be requested in writing via email. 

         

          
        D.I.Y. CONDOS  (for the do-it-yourselfer):

        If you are interested in booking your own private condo or town-home for your family or group, please select D.I.Y. Condo on your registration form.  We'll contact you to provide information for making your own arrangements with our booking agent.  Don't worry, all lodging arrangements will be in the same community. 

        Pricing for private condos range from:  $850 - $1250 for 5 nights depending on bedroom sleeping accommodations and amenities offered.  (There is a cleaning fee and 10% lodging tax.  Food is not included.)

            


         FAMILIES:

        Wanna bring the kids along??  No problem.  This is a family affair, so kids are welcome.  But you will want to use our D.I.Y. Condo option, and book your own lodging in the same community.    Making reservations is easy.  Please contact us for more information, and we'll put you in contact with our reservations manager.


        RESORT KIDS PROGRAMS 

        Your kids will have just as much fun as you!  There are kids programs available.

        Snow Basin - Grizzly Kids & Youth Club - from ages 5-12.  Snow Basin also offers day care for children 6 months - and up.

        BABYSITTING

        For those in need of babysitting, there are facilities for children in this vacation community, with baby sitting options available.   Please let us know if you're interested in learning more. 

             

         SKKI RENTAL:

        If you will be needing a Trikke SKKI rental in order to hit the slopes, the cost is $150.00 for your entire stay (not including travel days).   That's 4 full days of Skki rental, and you will receive an orientation lesson during your first rental day.   

        Daily rental rate for the Skki is $45 a day.   (Please include a note on your registration form if you would like to secure your Skki rental.  - First come, first served. Quantities are limited.)
