2013 RIDING CLINIKKS WEEKEND - Las Vegas - October 12th - 13th
_________________________________________________________________
Over the years, many riders have asked if they could come to a Trikke Academy, just for the riding classes & workshops. Well, now you can...
WHAT ARE THE CLINIKK TRAINING LEVELS?
If you see Level 1, 2, or 3 marked on a particular clinikk class, that's our way of helping you figure out how much you'll really get out of that class. You want to get the most out of your time, but it's also tough when you're brain and your body are on information overload. So, you don't want to pick classes that are too far beyond your riding skill. If you have questions, feel free to call us so we can help you decide which classes may be right for you. (Class registration will open Aug 15).
LEVEL 1 = This is truly beginner riding. You may have just started, or maybe even been riding for quite some time. But, if you can't start from a dead stop, or get much over 8 miles per hour, then it's time to start with the basic fundamentals of riding. Building a good foundation will make you a better rider, able to move on and advance your riding skills.
LEVEL 2 = You've got the basics down, but just don't really know where to take it from there... Can you lean well? Do you feel like you can really use your legs for max power in your stroke? Can you accelerate quickly, and keep speed on a moderate incline? If not,... Then you'd better click in to these clinikks and broaden your skills.
(please feel free to consult with us on which classes may be right for you.)
LEVEL 3 = This is advanced riding. To participate comfortably in this level of classes, you should feel you have a pretty good handle on these key areas: acceleration, center of gravity & balance, power. Your legs should already be your biggest power generator, and upper body / lower body coordination should be spot on. ...or, at least close to spot on. Think you're ready? ...Now's the time to kick it up a notch.

(Fact: To achieve "Hill Climber" status, a Certified Trikke Trainer must complete at least 6 consecutive turns up a 10 degree hill with proper technique, starting from a dead stop on the hill. Hill Climbing masters currently top out at 16-17 degrees.)
